NYC Subway Time - For All Train Lines in New York City MTA Subway Status App Reviews

When it works its great and the subway arrival times are usually accurate. For a point in time though the arrival times of the train were not available so I would only use it to check the status of the trains. I deleted the app altogether and after a month or more I decided to give it another try.

The app is very clunky.

It does not have a point to start or stop which can assist you on what train is closet to its location.

The app is lacking a fundamental piece. No map

Maybe the MTA changes the way it delivers the timings and the developer hasnt updated the app to retrieve the info. Only the number lines, 1-6, show times; #7 and all the letter trains return a blank page. So, for now the app is not functional.

Easy to use

Everything is good but sometimes the timing does not show up

Just installed due to weather. Disappointed only the number trains work. Looked like this would be helpful guess not.

The app overall is not bad. The arrival times are great, but if the MTA hasnt upgraded the line, its not available. Selecting my favorite station isnt available - I dont know if this is related to the lack of MTA upgrades, but even if it was, why not list the delays to the station? I have to search by subway line to find out its status. This app is better than some because you dont have to wait to download the status each time you open the app, it does it automatically. It does both portrait and landscape orientation with ease and until the MTA upgrades all the lines, all the other apps will have the same shortcomings regarding the arrival times.

Cant ever see any train coming

It works as far for the number trains but the letter trains it doesnt show ANY of the information. Once that get a role on it this would be a 5 star app

This app, it seems, simply pulls data from the MTAs official (free) app. Though it says it works on all lines, it only functions for the trains featured in the official app. Do yourself a favor, and get the free app instead.

Great concept but missing vital information... Need transfer points of other trains & at what stations, & points of interest (tourists spots) & what station to get off .. Then itll be 5 star

Wi fi doesnt even work on this app.

Information about 4,5,6,7,L only, nyc subway system much bigger

Doesnt work for all subway lines....

After the update Im unable to see the nearby trains . Also even if I click on the train schedule Im looking for I dont see schedule no more. Please fix it

This app is wrong more often than it is right. I dont know where they get their schedule from. Its as if the app just generates random train times to give the appearance of a functional app. It will say theres an uptown 6 train 3 minutes away, then 2 minutes, then 1 minute, then 0 minutes, but no 6 train comes. Go figure.

It gives me time of arrival for my trains at my stations update could use some improvements but otherwise its does what I want
